The Ultimate Quick Fix for Gorgeous, Healthy Curly Hair

Are you looking to give your hair a little extra TLC without spending hours with a wet head? Look no further!hair masks / deep conditioning treatments that will leave your locks looking and feeling fabulous. It's time to say goodbye to dull, dry curls, and hello to a hydrated mane in just minutes.

Everescents Berry Blonde 10 Minute Hair Mask

A 10-minute hair mask is a fast-acting, deep conditioning treatment designed to nourish and revitalise your hair in a short amount of time. Unlike traditional hair masks or treatments that may require longer periods of application and the use of hot towels, a 10-minute hair mask provides effective results in much less time. Some (like our EverEscents Berry Blonde Treatment, can even be applied for as little as 2 minutes!)

Generally speaking, 10-minute hair masks are much more concentrated, meaning more nutrients, vitamins, and moisture to your hair within a smaller time frame. This means you can enjoy the benefits of an ultra-luxe, spa-like treatment - without the need for a lengthy commitment.

The 10-Minute Hair Mask Routine

  1. Step 1: Shampoo and Rinse. Start by washing your hair with a gentle shampoo. This will help remove any dirt, excess oil, or product buildup, allowing the hair mask to penetrate deeply. Make sure you cleanse 2x.

  2. Step 2: Apply your 10 Minute Hair Mask of Choice. Take a generous amount of your favourite mask (suggestions below) and evenly distribute it through your damp hair. Pay extra attention to the ends, which tend to be drier and more damaged.

  3. Step 3: Detangle and Relax. Gently comb through your hair with a wide-toothed comb to ensure even distribution of the mask. Then, sit back and relax for 10 minutes. You can use this time to enjoy a cup of tea, read a book, or catch up on your favorite podcast ... or ya know, browse This Little Curl for more curl goodies!

  4. Step 4: Rinse Thoroughly. After 10 minutes, thoroughly rinse out the mask with lukewarm water. Ensure there's no residue on your scalp.

  5. Step 5: Style as Desired. Proceed with your regular styling routine. You'll notice your curls are more moisturised, easier to detangle, and keep hydrated for longer!

Top tips!

  • If your hair is on the more damaged side (think bleaching, straightening etc) opt for a mask that contains protein for repair and strength. If it's really in need of some heavy-handed repair, apply Olaplex No.3 to damp hair BEFORE shampooing and applying your mask.

  • If you've applied a fabulous hair mask and now your hair is overly soft, fluffy and lacking curl definition, this can be a sign that you need a curly hair treatment with protein aswell or instead. The protein will help give more structure to your curls while helping them stay hydrated for longer - double whammy! So what are some of our favourite, fast acting hair masks? I'm glad you asked!
